This week, Defence Minister Judith Collins is in Washington D.C. for a series of meetings with senior US officials.

The visit comes at a time of increasing global complexity and aims to strengthen New Zealand’s defence and security partnership with the United States. Discussions will cover.

  • Strengthening NZ–US defence cooperation.
  • Enhancing Indo-Pacific regional security.
  • Addressing emerging global challenges.

The NZUS Council welcomes this active engagement and supports the deepening of bilateral ties.
