In a recent speech to the Lowy Institute, Prime Minister Christopher Luxon highlighted New Zealand’s strategic outlook amidst a rapidly shifting global landscape.

Luxon emphasised the importance of international engagement and collaboration with longstanding allies, particularly the US, noting New Zealand’s active role in strengthening ties with the US through initiatives like annual Foreign Ministers talks and the Technology Dialogue.

He also underscored New Zealand’s participation in collective efforts, led by the US, to uphold international security and freedom of navigation, reflecting a deep commitment to global stability.
