This year’s NZUS Council Media Fellow Pete McKenzie recently had a piece published in the Listener following on from his trip to the States where he met with a wide range of key players in the bilateral relationship.
The Fellowship enables a New Zealand journalist with an interest in international affairs to visit the United States on a two-week research tour.
Pete is a freelance journalist who did his MA in journalism at Columbia University in New York under a Fulbright Graduate Award. Pete visited the US in April 2024 to research trends and developments that are relevant to the bilateral relationship.
