In late March the United States and New Zealand convened the second  US-New Zealand Space Dialogue in Washington, D.C., reflecting continued cooperation in the space domain.

A joint statement from the two countries outlined progress in advancing engagement across commercial space activity, emerging technologies, and regulatory frameworks, highlighting the growing strategic and economic importance of space.

The Dialogue built on existing collaboration and underscored the role of international partnerships in supporting innovation, scientific collaboration and the responsible use of space.
